We had a fun family vacation together going to the beach by the Atlantic Ocean and to Orlando. We all had a great time! Going to the beach is a favorite for all of us!
Claire loves walking and holding Aspen's hand, when Aspen will allow her to do so....she has a mind of her own now!
Aspen is walking and running now, so it makes being at the beach lots of fun! She is a bit timid about the waves, but as long as we stay close and hold her for a few minutes until she gets used to the waves she is fine. She likes playing in the sand, but is cautious. so far she has not been interested in eating the sand, but she enjoys tasting the sea water....
Here is Aspen playing with her cousin that is just 4 months older than her. They are watching some people parasailing in the sky!

A few weeks later we also escaped for the 4th of July holiday weekend. We watched firework shows 2 nights in a row. Aspen was very scared as soon as she heard the "booming" of the fireworks and buried her face against me for about the first 15 minutes. I kept talking to her about how pretty the fireworks were, and eventually she started peeking out to see and then within a few minutes she was over her fear and up running around and laughing and having a great time! We were with friends and they bought matching tee shirts for the girls
