Aspen is 4 months old!

I took Aspen to the pediatrician yesterday for her 4 month check up. She is 14 pounds now, which puts her in the 50th percentile for weight, and she is 25 inches long, which is the 75th percentile for height!! Her head circumference is also in the 75th percentile for babies her age. She loved lying on the exam table and playing with the paper that makes lots of noise when she rolls on it. She is doing great and getting ready to start eating rice cereal. She cried during her shots, but I picked her up right after and she immediately stopped and gave the nurse a big teary grin, she is such a good baby.

She is rolling over more, and now it is clearly a conscious decision. She can roll from her stomache to her back and even a few times from her back to her stomache. She is learning to be more vocal, she likes to "screech". I'll attach a video and you can see both. She started on her tummy, but by the time I grabbed the camera, she was already on her side. She is still sleeping all night and she always wakes up happy!

Claire is having so much fun playing with Aspen. Now she is stronger and can hold her head up well and they just giggle and play and have fun. Here is a video of Claire making her laugh.

Claire had a sleepover with some friends and Aspen was the center of attention. You should have seen these 4 girls all trying to give Aspen a bath....

Claire is taking springboard diving classes this summer, and is loving it! Here is a video of her learning to do a back dive.

Claire loves to watch TV, but I can always think of much better ways for her to spend her time. Here is a funny video clip of her trying to talk me into letting her watch TV...

We went to the Zoo last weekend and had a great time. Aspen slept through most of it...

Claire and her friend got their faces painted to look like a monkey.

Claire and David love to climb the rock wall there. Claire made it to the top several times. Here are some photos.

Have a great weekend!
